Gideon Russo, one of our most talented FRBA boxers, participated in the first annual Cleto Reyes “Gladiators Challenge” on August 28th. Even though it wasn’t Gideon’s night this time, he’s dedicated, skillful and tough, and he always makes us proud. We’ll miss having him around the gym as often as usual, as he is off to college this fall. Matt Hubert, our 178 pounder, is getting ready for his first fight September 30th in Boulder.

A sad note: Owen Eldridge, one of our gym members, was killed in a motorcycle accident on Thursday, August 3rd. He was a hard worker and a valued member of our community. Only 19 years old. Rest in peace, Owen.
